Independent practice · Apps & web

Apps and websites,on a hobbyist’s terms.

Bondevo is an independent practice where apps and sites take shape at their own pace — solid code, calm interfaces, and tools that last.

No client queue. No pitch decks. Work that is allowed to take the time it needs.

01The practice

A craft, not a factory

Bondevo builds apps and websites in spare time. That constraint is deliberate: evenings, weekends, and whatever curiosity remains. The work should still open cleanly three years from now — readable code, intelligible interfaces, no shortcuts that rot.

Hobbyist does not mean dilettante. It means choosing a tool because it is right, not because it sells. An API is allowed to be small. An app may be native where it shows, and shared where writing it twice would be waste. A site can be still, fast, and law-abiding without being dull.

No case studies, no invented clients. What you see here is the orientation: modern clients, sturdy services, and infrastructure you can actually own.

01

Own pace

No sprints against someone else’s deadline

02

Apps + web

From native clients to quiet static sites

03

EU hosting

Self-hosted when it is reasonable; Hetzner in practice

02Tools

Where attention goes

A narrow bench, not an endless toolbox. Six tracks that fit together — from services close to the metal to pixels on a screen.

  • Services

    Go

APIs, CLIs and behind-the-scenes work where simplicity, clear boundaries and predictable performance matter most.

  • Kotlin Multiplatform

    KMP

Shared logic across Android, iOS and beyond — native where it is felt, common where writing it twice would be waste.

  • Apps

    Flutter

One codebase, pixel control and fast iteration when the interface is the product and the platforms should move together.

  • Interfaces

    React

Components you can live with. State, accessibility and composition without unnecessary framework noise.

  • Web

    Next.js

Sites that treat people and search engines decently: server rendering when it helps, quiet HTML when it is enough.

  • Web

    Vue

Progressive, readable front-end work when templates should stay clear and the path from idea to UI should be short.

03Operations

Azure and DevOps as craft

Code that cannot ship is unfinished. Bondevo treats cloud, pipelines and observability with the same seriousness as the product itself — small scale, clean surfaces.

Azure

Resources you can explain: identity, network, storage and runtime without a jungle of clicks. Preference for infrastructure as code, least privilege, and EU regions when possible.

  • Apps, functions and containers without the extra storey
  • Identity and secrets managed, not scattered
  • Cost and surface kept visible — a hobby budget is a feature

DevOps

A pipeline should be boring. Build, test, publish, roll back. Containers, health checks and a Dockerfile a human can read — the same model this site runs on.

  • CI/CD with clear steps and traceable artefacts
  • Container operations, health checks and reproducible builds
  • Self-hosting from Git — Dokploy reads the files, not the magic

04Method

How the work takes shape

Few principles, held tightly. They exist so hobby projects do not collapse into piles of experiments.

  1. 01

    Small surfaces, clear decisions

A narrow API and a calm interface beat a platform that tries to do everything. Scope is a design parameter.

  2. 02

    Accessibility from the first commit

Keyboard, contrast, honest semantics, and respect for reduced motion. Not a polish week at the end.

  3. 03

    Code you can own

No black boxes when a plain, boring option will do. Dependencies should be replaceable. Secrets stay out of Git.

  4. 04

Law as foundation, not an appendix

Cookies only if they are needed (here: none). Privacy by default. Hosting in the EU. Prose you can read without a lawyer.

05Contact

One address, no form

No contact form, no tracking, no newsletter funnel. Email is enough — and it goes through an alias.

A subject line that says what this is about helps. Replies arrive when time allows — a hobbyist calendar is uneven on purpose.

When you send email, the message is processed only so it can be read and answered. See the privacy note for details.

06Legal

Privacy, cookies and accessibility — readable here, not hidden behind a consent wall.

01Privacy policyNo profiles, no pixels. Logs only for operations.

Last updated 10 September 2026

Who is responsible

Bondevo is an independent hobbyist practice, not a registered company. The person who runs the site is the controller for the processing that actually happens. Contact: sd045vyz@anonaddy.com.

What is collected — and what is not

The site has no accounts, no forms, no analytics, no advertising or social pixels, and no embedded third-party scripts. Bondevo does not profile visitors and does not sell data.

Operations

The site is hosted on a Hetzner Online server in the EU and published via Dokploy. The web server may write ordinary access logs (for example IP address, time, requested resource and user-agent) for operations, debugging and abuse prevention. Logs are not used for marketing and are not kept longer than operations require.

Theme in the browser

The light/dark preference is stored in the browser’s localStorage, not as an HTTP cookie. It stays on your device and is not sent to the server.

Language

Language is controlled by the URL (Swedish at bondevo.site, English at /en). No language cookie is set. A one-time redirect may use the browser’s Accept-Language header on first visit.

Email

If you write to sd045vyz@anonaddy.com, your name, address, subject and message are processed in order to read and possibly reply. The legal basis is legitimate interest (correspondence) or contract if you explicitly start a collaboration. Data is not passed on. Deletion requests go to the same address.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability where applicable, and the right to complain to your supervisory authority (in Sweden: IMY). Because the site does not keep visitor profiles, most of these rights become relevant once you have sent email.

Transfers

The site does not intentionally transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA. Email in transit may pass through providers; the alias address exists to keep that surface small.

02CookiesNo HTTP cookies. No banner to dismiss.

Last updated 10 September 2026

No cookies

bondevo.site does not set HTTP cookies. There is no cookie banner because there are no cookies to consent to. That follows the ePrivacy Directive: consent is required for non-essential cookies — none are used here.

What is used instead

Theme preference lives in localStorage (not a cookie). Language lives in the address. No third-party cookies, no fingerprinting, no advertising identifiers.

If this changes

If cookies are ever introduced — for example strictly necessary ones for security — this text will be updated first, and consent will be requested where the law requires it.

03Accessibility statementWCAG 2.2 AA as a benchmark, not an afterthought.

Last updated 10 September 2026

Aim

Bondevo aims for WCAG 2.2 Level AA and the relevant parts of EN 301 549. The European Accessibility Act does not necessarily cover a personal hobbyist site, but the principles are followed anyway: perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.

What is in place

Semantic headings and landmarks, a skip link, a visible focus ring, keyboard navigation, text alternatives for icons, sufficient contrast in light and dark mode, respect for the system theme, and motion that yields when the browser asks for reduced movement (prefers-reduced-motion).

Known limits

The site is a single long landing page; the legal blocks can be dense on small screens. Decorative mesh surfaces are hidden from assistive technology. If something gets in the way, email sd045vyz@anonaddy.com with the page, browser and what happened.

Feedback

Accessibility reports are taken seriously and fixed when it is reasonable within a hobbyist’s time. Public-sector enforcement does not apply; Bondevo is not a public body.
